Annandale slant

Thought I'd go the catwoman outfit a couple of days ago (black on black and cat-eye sunglasses) but felt strangely weird being in all black... threw on my favourite shearling vest and emptied the mr fill & zip for this embroided bag that has been neglected and hiding underneath a pile of old clothes. A perfect balancing act in colour and texture.

Then it was Pub cha for lunch.

Packed with love

scattered polaroids + camera / karen walker sunglasses / burberry summer perfume / comme des garçons wallet / iPhone (with ears) / assorted bangles and bracelets / MAC matte lipstick / grapefruit by yoko ono / chip chop! tote

After seeing this competition on Benah, I thought I'd do another 'what's in my bag' post just like the one I did earlier this year. I entered with this photograph and would love your 'likes' for my post, or if you're feeling like getting a little creative, you can enter your own.

Here's to a summer of love...

Caught up

Two things I'm obsessed with at the moment:

1. Karen Walker sunglasses in crazy tort, a perfect cross between cat-eye and wayfarer.
2. Panda iPhone case with ears, which make taking photos for instagram way more fun.

Tree of life

The original bohemian pioneers held their first ever market bazaar this weekend and it was definitely one to be excited about (you should already know how much I want to go to India by nowthis is as close as I can get for the meantime).

Despite getting lost and turning up late (the lovely girls invited me to roam around and take photos before it opened to the public), I still managed to snap some of my favourite details. Prices were from as little as $1they had clothing, accessories, homewares, furniture and served the best chai yet at their chai tea stall.

I ended up with more homewares to add to my collection... Don't think you can ever have enough of these colourful beauties. Really can't wait to test my salt crystal lamp, it should look similar to this when lit.

Criss cross & nothing to hide

kuto dress / mogil sandals / topshop bag / sunglasses from glebe markets

You've seen it layered in the cold and throughout idyllic trails but here it is quickly slipped on, just like it should be. I love it with a crop top for the extra detail from behind... paired with messy low buns, lace up sandals and a little leopard love. Right under the sunlight it goes sheer... but if you would rather be running around barefoot and in less, then I wouldn't really mind.

Maxi dress available at Glebe and Bondi markets.

Pure elegance

Nothing this small goes unnoticed for me.

So when I discovered this piece from Iwona Ludyga's latest jewellery collection the attraction was instant and I knew I had to find out more.

It's all about the finer details, delicate and minimal yet very distinctive in style. She mixes silver with 14k gold and incorporates miniature pendants that somehow make a lasting impression to my eye.

I've already got plenty of styles on my wish list, including the petite larme ring, 14k letter necklace, gold heart necklace and tiny heart bracelet.

You can find out more, here.

14k Tiny heart bracelet $220.
Available, here.

A LITTLE PIECE OF PARIS

Travel stories always make me jealous.
But I do like a little souvenir.

IDYLLIC TRAILS

If you follow me on twitter you would've already had a sneak peak of my weekend filled with travel stories from a friend, boot repairs, raspberry slurpees, sushi snacks and my sunday afternoon bike ridewhich was the perfect way to unwind... but only had me wishing that I had a little pup to put in my basket and take for a ride with me. I'll keep you posted on outfit details soon, I'm sure this maxi loved the breeze just as much as I did.

It's just me and my bike, for now.

Vegetable scent

When seasons change I like to do the same with scents. I've skipped from Chloe for autumn to DKNY for winter, saved a bottle from Marc jacobs for another spring and have already got Burberry lined up for this summer. I'm still more fond of an older season's cucumber on my bedside table than the latest scents from the splash cocktail collection. So I'm glad I saved a second bottle for another spring fling! My favorite vegetable in a scent, quite the refreshment.

Style stalker

With fashion week comes street style, and there's nothing better than the snaps taken to-and-from the actual shows itself. Man, I can stay up all night style stalking! One stylish lady I always look out for is US Marie Claire's Style and Accessories Director, Taylor Tomasi Hill. I love her unexpected mix of prints and textures, that thrown together look accompanied with some serious edge and the fact that you can pretty much call her the definition of street chic. If you like these, her recent outfits from NYFW just keep getting better.

Secluded

tree of life tunic / lee jeans / asos heels / comme des garçons purse / vintage sunnies & choker

A quick stop by some back streets from the city on the first sunday of spring. This top and choker combo seems to be on high rotation when the days turn into weekends. Asymmetrical lengths make it all the more interesting, but the laced edges are no doubt my favourite feature. It's kind of romantic, but not your prissy kind. Just how it should be sometimes. I'd love to switch from jeans to shorts once it heats up a little bit more, but for now there's the old grey kind and minimal heels for comfortable company.

Keeping things to a minimum

Block heeled, clean lines, simple straps and black suedethat's as much as my toes are getting dressed up with at the moment. Two coats of coral nail polish and I'm all set in these heels from asos.

Hello sunshine

vintage coat / cheap monday jeans / beau coops boots

Searching for new avenues these past few weekends... a lot of walking and info packs involved. Very indecisive but more curious than ever. Maybe a little lost but not too late for a wander, with Hello sunshine by syd matters falling under the soundtrack. Farewell to fur coats, scarves, thick socks and chunky boots... for now.

Boogie & the historymaker

THE COUNTER WORLD CLUTCH
THE MUSIC SERIES EMBROIDERED PURSE
THE GIVING TREE BAG

I can't find one single thing that I don't love in sass & bide's latest SS11 collection, boogie & the history maker.  The prints in apparel are perfect in every way, the colours in the accessories bring the right amount of pop to a minimal outfit and the treasures from the port de vanves flea markets in paris seen on their blog here leave you feeling just as inspired. This is just a handful of favourites. I've never wanted a designer's whole collection to be my entire wardrobe, until now.

What's a girl to do.
