I have a little something for you.
It's handmade, stitched with rustic charm, filled with delicate rose petal paper, embossed with intricate designs and is all the way from my travels in India.
After receiving such a great response from my instagram photo and journal entries, I thought I'd bring back a couple for family, friends, and (one lucky) you.
I'm sure I mentioned my love for beautiful blank notebooks in my very first post―but it's what you fill them with that matters the most. They evoke the best of our memories, record our thoughts and hold our most treasured moments. So here it goes, a give away for the very first time!
To enter:
1. Follow hopethislasts.com on google connect and bloglovin'.
2. Leave a comment below of your favourite quote (on life, love, travel-completely up to you!)
3. Make sure you leave your first name and email address so that I can get in touch.
Good luck!

Such a beautiful journal. I'm a sucker for inspirational quotes, it's hard to pick just one. But one of my favourites is "Give thanks for what you are now and keep fighting for what you want to be tomorrow".

All of your posts from India are really beautiful. They make me want to expand my tourism horizons...
ReplyDeleteHere's a more recent favourite quote of mine:
“I must see new things and investigate them. I want to taste dark water and see crackling trees and wild winds. I want to gaze with astonishment at moldy garden fences. I want to experience them all, to hear young birch plantations and trembling leaves, to see light and sun, enjoy wet, green-blue valleys in the evening, sense goldfish glinting, see white clouds building up in the sky, to speak to flowers. I want to look intently at grasses and pink people, old venerable churches, to know what little cathedrals say, to run without stopping along curving meadowy slopes across vast plains, kiss the earth and smell soft warm marshland flowers. And then I shall shape things so beautifully: fields of colour…” - Egon Schiele

From a past issue of Russh: "We love the brightness, the boldness, the newness of no fixed plans and an itinerary that is loose at best. Destinations unknown, people unmet, places unseen. Play the great explorer; take off and touch down. Go on, live a little"
ReplyDeleteI love this so much because in the future this is how I want to live my life, and how much freedom travel brings.

INSIDE IN INSIDE OUT
This is beautiful! Almost too beautiful to write in!
ReplyDeleteI knew that I was destined to be a writer/journalist from a young age as I too had (and still do) have an obsession with journals and notebook. One of my most favourite things to do is to spend hours perusing the shelves of little independent bookshops for journals and notebooks. It so sad that one day, they will cease to exist and we will only have 'digital' words.
