Excuse me if I've been a little bit slack with posting. The new year rolled in so quick and I've just recovered from being sick (way to start a new year huh!) During Christmas I wrote down and reflected on all the things I had done, accomplished, had happened and gone through in 2012 and all the things I wanted to achieve, do and focus on in 2013. I filled up over two pages and just thought I'd share a couple of things on my blog.
In 2012 I...
Traveled to India
Traveled to Bali twice, one for business, the other for pleasure
Worked as a freelance photographer for Broadsheet
Got accepted into COFA to do a Bachelor of Fine Arts and left after a couple of weeks
Did my first Flower Bomb class
Got my full licence
Attended Fashion Week on behalf of my blog rather than for work
Traveled to Melbourne with P for my 24th birthday
Dined at Fratelli Paradiso with friends for my 24th birthday lunch
Worked as a freelance stylist/videographer for various fashion start-ups
Worked as a personal stylist for DJ's, left after a month of too much corporate wear
Worked as a casual in setting up the launch of Sydney's first Topshop store
Found my first four leaf clover
Launched my own company and website, The Love Assembly
Moved into The Love Assembly's office
Went on an overnight trip to The National Gallery of Australia, courtesy of Countrylink
Went on our first and only camping trip for the year at Bouddi
Bought my first pair of Repetto's
Sadly lost a friend who passed
I'm sure 2013 has some exciting things ahead and I wanted to let you all know about my dedication to The Love Assembly
and say sorry in advance if I don't post that often here but will try and keep on top of it all. I'm thinking about the
transition of moving everything over (personal and professional posts) but I haven't decided yet so I would love to know what you think?
I'm sure if you love it here you will love it over there too, there's a new post everyday. I would love to know your thoughts...

You have had an amazing year!
ReplyDeleteIt is always nice to sit back and reflect on the past year, through the good and the bad. It really does shape who we are today.
I can understand about the lack of posting - and it is an exciting time for you! I've really enjoyed your blog this last year, and hope in some way shape or form you can continue to share your love of all things beautiful!
xx
Thankyou, yes I think it's always nice to reflect on what you've done for the year! In some ways I think, OMG what did I do this year!? What am I doing with my life?! And then you go back and write a list and you're like, OH... that was actually quite a bit! Thanks for reading & I hope you enjoy both Hope this lasts & The Love Assembly's journeys for 2013. x
DeleteI'm also sure that 2013 is going to be even greater ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the new Diptyque's bottle, but I'm a little bit nostalgic with the old ones. I have L'Ombre dans L'Eau and I think I'm going to keep it just for remember it.
Best,
Maia
I love the scent of Do Son in the summertime.. ah memories. x
Deleteso many achievements, here here to an even greater 2013!
